I always think it’s important to remember that we all started CrossFit at a very similar place, nervous/scared, unhealthy, out of shape, and looking for personal change. I’m miles from where I first started, I love myself (body included) more than I ever have before.

In 2012 I was at my heaviest, my run time for the Pat Tillman that year was 1:11, today I ran it in 41:28. I undoubtedly owe CrossFit Maricopa (my family) for initiating that change and inspiring me to continually improve my physical and mental health. And I work my butt off everyday so I never go back to the me in 2012!
