You may have noticed that we’ve added a lot of new faces to the CFM Family recently! This is AWESOME news because it means that the word is out that CrossFit Maricopa is not only the place to reach your fitness goals BUT also the place to come for a fun, supportive and non-judgmental environment! With our growth, I wanted to share these thoughts from Sohee Fit:
“Please remember that the overweight woman struggling to perform bodyweight squats in the corner of the room may have already lost 20lbs of bodyfat and has been working her tail off to get healthy for her children.
Please consider that the client asking 99 questions about her fitness program may be feeling anxious after being duped by coach after coach and simply wants to know that you genuinely care.
Please keep in mind that the fellow gym member keeping to herself during her workout may actually just be incredibly shy and doesn’t intend to come off as snobby or unfriendly.
Give others the benefit of the doubt. Be kind. Go the extra mile. Do good.
We are all fighting our own battles that the rest of the world doesn’t necessarily see.”
